Choose Native Plants PA
Choose Native Plants is a responsive web application for finding native plants in Pennsylvania. The site allows those with a lot or a little knowledge of gardening to see native plants and what nurseries might be carrying them or if they are available from online sources.
Structure
This is a Code for Philly project, and the team consisted of 3 UX Designers fresh from boot camp/flex programs, a seasoned developer, a new developer, a technical CPA, and a data engineer.
Status
The project process included a survey distributed to possible users to define what would be included in the MVP, wireframes, and prototypes in Figma, competitive analysis, unmoderated usability test, UI, and handout to the developer.
The project started in April 2021, and the UX research and UI design are finished.
The project is planned to be launched in time for Spring planting season 2022 in Pennsylvania and is currently in development. You can check updates here choosenativeplants.com
